Highlighter Tape, a tool for knitting

What else do you need besides knitting needles and yarn to knit that scarf or Sweater? Well, you could make your life easier with Highlighter Tape.

Use Highlighter Tape to  keep your place in your pattern or chart without hiding any of it from view. Because it’s translucent you can easily see what’s coming up in your pattern. This tape stays firmly in place until you are ready to move it, and won’t ruin your book/pattern when you do take it off. Folding a bit under on one side to give you something to grasp and help when you want to take the tape off.

There are four sizes, 1 7/8, 1/2, 1/3, and 1/6 inch wide by 392 inches long. The 1 7/8 and 1/2 inch wide tape comes in six fluorescent colors, yellow, orange, blue, purple, green, and a hot pink. The 1/6 and 1/3 inch wide tape come in yellow only. All, with the exception of the 1 7/8 inch wide, come in Scotch Tape type dispensers. In the 1 7/8 inch wide, only the yellow comes in a dispenser. However, the other colors will fit into a dispenser, and the dispensers are available at additional cost. Get the several colors to mark different parts of the same pattern!

Knitters aren’t the only ones to use highlighter tape. Piano teachers use it to mark scores for their students. Reading teachers use it to mark difficult words and help students retain the lesson.
